Our Mission
HobbyLabo exists to build apps that we genuinely want to use ourselves — and to share them with people around the world. We believe the best tools are born from real needs, not market trends.
Our Story
HobbyLabo was founded in 2026 in Tokyo, Japan. What started as a personal project to track travel expenses across multiple currencies quickly grew into something larger — a studio dedicated to crafting thoughtful, well-designed mobile applications.
Our founder, a software engineer with experience in both web and mobile development, noticed that many existing apps were either bloated with unnecessary features or lacked the attention to detail that makes daily use a pleasure. HobbyLabo was created to fill that gap: building focused, reliable tools that respect users' time and privacy.
Today, HobbyLabo publishes multiple apps across the App Store and Google Play, serving users in Japan, Korea, and worldwide. Each app reflects our core philosophy: start simple, solve real problems, and iterate based on genuine user feedback.
What We Do
We specialize in cross-platform mobile app development for iOS and Android. Our focus areas include personal finance tools, health and wellness applications, and productivity utilities. Every app is designed with internationalization in mind, currently supporting English, Japanese, and Korean.
